LB Charging is a portable power bank rental company founded to give people a simple way to stay charged while they're out — and to give local businesses an easy source of extra revenue.
Our story
Starting small, on purpose.
LB Charging was founded by Louis Barbarisi with a simple idea: people run out of phone battery constantly while out at restaurants, bars, and events — and most venues have no good way to help. We started by building a station, testing it in a real restaurant setting, and reaching out to venue owners across New Jersey one conversation at a time.
Rather than launching everywhere at once, we're growing deliberately — piloting with a small number of host locations, learning what works, and reinvesting that into the next installation. Every business that partners with us early is helping shape how this network grows.
Early 2026
The idea takes shape
Design and testing of the first LB Station, built around a simple goal: no app, no friction, just a charger when you need one.
